P-51 Mustang 'Late Style' Tail (Revell)

Late style tail and elevators to suite the later P-51 Mustangs.

Please note the following, this set adds the strake and there is detail as close to the original kit parts as possible, there are also metal clad elevators.

However these changes make the most visible differences to the aircraft to allow the later Mustang to be modelled BUT, it does not make all the changes to make a 100% authentic late Mustang, there are changes in the cockpit and a few other small airframe changes.

So only purchase this set if you are happy to do the other changes yourself OR as in my case do not get too hung up over some issues that will not be seen by most admiring your completed model.
Note I have tried a few changes to the masters, the set shown has some internal 'rib' structure, some of these may need a small amount of filling for the best fit on assembly. These are direct replacements for the kit parts, and the kit tail wheel bay assembly is to be fitted, so no loss in detail and assembly sequence is changed.
